ABOUT

Lisa has 10 years of experience working as an accountant and started Lisa C Nuñez, CPA in 2019.  She gained her experience working under her father, who has run a successful accounting firm for over 25 years. 

 

Lisa graduated from the University of Maryland in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology.  She managed a staff of 44 personal trainers at Equinox Fitness for four years before changing careers into accounting.  While working as an accountant at Edward L. Monaco, CPA, she got her MBA from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College in 2015, followed by her CPA license in 2017.  Her knowledge and experience grows continuously, as she welcomes mentoring and continues her education, with a strong belief that one should never stop learning.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys kick-boxing and spending time with friends and family.  She loves the Yankees and heads back to Maryland for a football game every year.  She has a passion for eco-tourism and loves to travel to exotic places with her husband.
